Description: Employee will be responsible to efficiently operate the equipment associated with the Surface Mount line and related functions. Quality product is expected to be produced at all times.
Qualifcations:
Demonstrate the ability to read prints and follow detailed instructions
Be comfortable with machine operation
Basic knowledge of component types and values, and understand polarity
Must pay close attention to detail
Excellent communication skills
Must be able to lift up to 25 lbs
The ability to stand for an extended period of time is required.
Responsibilities:
Set-up and operate stencils
Load reels onto feeders, call up component screen, and place feeders onto machine
Understand and clear more common error messages.
Program machines in line
Convert from a reel to a belt feeder and vice versa
Basic maintenance on SMT machines
Create files for AOI inspection machine
Experience: A Newonics SMT Operator must have at least 3 months direct SMT experience and a high school diploma or equivalent.
POSITION: Inventory Technician:Description: Employee will be responsible for efficiently and accurately inventorying, auditing, and preparing kits for production and related functions.
Qualifcations:
Demonstrate the ability to read inventory lists
Count and catalog data accurately
Follow detailed instructions
Must have some basic knowledge of component types and values
Must pay close attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills
Responsibilities:
Cycle Counting and Inventory: Responsible for performing daily cycle counts as defined by the Newonics Cycle Count Procedure. Firm understanding of MRP and inventory control methods. Able to effectively communicate problems to Supervisor.
Audit: Verify material sent by the customer and stage kits for production.
Parts Prep: Prepare all parts for production that require specific preparation prior to be being installed on the PCB's.
Experience: A Newonics Inventory must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
